January 14, 2002 :: "A damn fine read"

Don’t think I’ve mentioned this before, but Michael Barrish’s Oblivio is one of the best blogs I’ve read in a long time. The writing and design are on par with the likes of Textism and Hoopla. Nice attention to details. I like the way he handles links to other blogs; he not only includes the excerpt, but a tiny graphic as well. How can one not like a site whose XHTML 1.0 TRANSITIONAL VALID CODE link is labeled as “Validation is foxy.”

He said. She said. There’s 2 Comments

And he even linked to something that I did (even if he did link to someone's mirror of the HTML, rather than the original).

Still haven't gotten my site re-design together yet (I've been wasting time designing plug-in stuff for Movable Type), but when I get around to it, I'll have to take another look at this site again. Thanks for the linky-link, D.
