October 24, 2001 :: "Why I love Michigan weather"

Today we have an afternoon high temperature of 73°F [22°C], severe thunderstorms, possible tornado warnings and wind gusts up to 40mph [64kmh]. Tomorrow? Snow.

I just don’t know how to dress anymore.

I'm never quite sure what to wear to a tornado either. When inspecting trailer park destruction, you certainly don't want to be caught on camera inappropriately attired. I'm thinking about wearing something from the LL Bean fall line, what do think?

When anywhere near a trailer park, the only appropriate attire is a Whitesnake t shirt and old Levis. Maybe a NASCAR hat, if you're dressing for the occassion.

Isn't Kevlar the appropriate fabric for a tornado?

LL Bean, Patrick? Never pictured you in the Duck Hunter look. Myself, I stick to my usual attire. For tornadoes it’s Structure or Banana Republic. For snow you gotta go with the Kenneth Cole. I mean duh!

Oh and Amy? Friday is calling for a plague of frogs and a 40% chance that it will rain blood. Then skies will clear briefly as temps soar to the mid-100s during the alien fire-storms.

Looks like a picture-perfect weekend ahead...

I thought it just rained frogs in weird movies in Los Angeles...

Damn, why Friday? My 100% Hemp "Save the Rainforest" T-Shirt is in the wash, that would of been perfect for a plague of frogs!
