September 24, 2001 :: "Support your right to read what you want"
Sept. 22-29 is Banned Books Week. Davezilla is supporting this. If you value reading whatever you want, and not letting someone else decide what your children can and cannot read, you should support it too.

"what a day, what a day, for an Auto da Fe..."
I'd support it 99.999%, cause a part of me really wants to see Easton-Ellis' Glamorama banned from ever being subjected on anyone ever again.

The banned books project pertains only to quality literature. Easton-Ellis therefore excluded.

I'm all for censoring [censored]. If we didn't have censors, [censored] would become more [censored] on the inter[censored]. Our children would grow up [censored] and illiterate, and have no place to go except [censored] chat rooms. So 'boo' to the [censored] [censored] week!

Why you dirty [censored], [censored] and [censored]! I can’t believe you would [censored] and [censored] to [censored]ing my blog as your personal [censored].
Just kidding!

They were trying to ban Heather has Two Mommies in a podunk town last year, and I worked on the ACLU case voluntarily. I can't believe people are wanting to ban kids' books. Especially Heather . . . I mean come on, two women - that's HOT.

Heather has Two Mommies would be all about the wonders of genetic splicing and test-tube babies, right? I think the closest equivalent we have over here is Spot Is Just Curious
