I couldn’t resist. Her mother was hit by a car. She is currently sleeping in my lap but she woke up long enough to wave hello.

Poor little orphan! She looks pretty happy now, though. Does she have a name yet? By

Yes yes yes! Dave, you have just restored some of my faith.

Of course, I have 6 cats, all of whom were either on the street or about to be. I just like to know I'm not the only sucker for a pretty face around.

Hugs to you and your kitty.

I am so lucky! All three cats slept together [on me] the first night. No fights. Yay! By Davezilla :: September 18, 2001 06:45 AM EST
Oops sorry Natalie. Her name is Astrid. By Davezilla :: September 18, 2001 06:48 AM EST
Wow, Dave, that's remarkable. our cats have decided that two people in a queen sized bed leaves not enough bed real estate for all of them, no matter how cold the night or how much scary thunder noise there is. At least, not enough room for them, us, AND peace. Oh, and no room at all for the dog. She's a blanket hog anyway, and she snores.

We've thought about moving up to a king, but it won't fit in the bedroom. Now, if we aren't in the bed, then there's room for all (except the dog, but she has her own bed), so maybe we just need to get our own bedroom

"The name Astrid creates a very independent, practical, analytical nature with skillful business abilities." Planning on getting her to pay for her own cat food?

Actually, it's a very pretty name.:)

(I'm envious of the 3-cat cuddle. I suspect that if another cat tried to share the bed with mine, I would lose a limb or two, being stuck in the middle.)
