I have a tank full of tropical fish. A community tank they call it.

I beg to differ.

Several weeks ago I purchased two baby Oscars. I know they grow to be large cumbersome beasts, rather like having a pet Bass.

What I did not know was how quickly they attain this size. I figured maybe like a kitten, they would attain full size in a year. Wrong! They have grown 2" in length in four weeks. Not full grown to be sure, but large enough to decide that Tetras is good eatin’.

They were hatin’ on my tetras. Only one left. He looks somewhat ... nervous.
