    Disturbing, yet logical.

    Comments for everything!

Separated at birth - close, but Marty’s co-star Peter Boyle looks more like him!

Celebrity winners - Ahnold and Christina

Hipster Olympics - sorry, I’m way too cool to watch,

    In parting - Yeah Toast!

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Igor, help me with the bags.
Igor: [Imitating Groucho Marx] Soitenly. You take the blonde, I’ll take the one in the turban.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I was talking about the luggage.

Is it merely coincidence that all the female celebrities who offered really stupid things to say are blonde?

Yes! I love Marty Feldman. One of my favorites and someone who should be remembered a lot more now-a-days.

BTW…I like Lake Effect’s Shemp icon. The Stooges rock.

I agree with pablo. For further proof, put up Ballmer’s ‘Developers’ video against Boyle’s ‘Putting on the Ritz’

    Frau Blucher!

Using that example I disagree. Listen to Ballmer’s mangling of proper English and diabetic wheezing. It compares favorably to the Monster’s incomprehensible attempt at singing.

How about a female Marty Feldman sibling…remember the ‘Runaway Bride’ from a year or two ago…

I have to agree with StevieC - the resemblance to Boyles’ Putting On The Ritz performance is eerie. I think Ballmer is a Boyles clone, not a Feldman afterthought.

As for the Blonde thing - Anyone that creates their public image based on blonde hair is going to focus on all the stereotype Blonde features, from a sexy, sultry smile to refusal to sound competent - inviting people with more money than sense to ‘take care’ of them.

And since you often become what you pretend to be, from competent to brave to Blonde, then you can understand that people invested in being ‘Blonde’ won’t be practiced at sounding competent.

For a nice ditty on being blonde, check out Julie Brown’s ‘Trapped In The Body Of a White Girl’ album for ‘Because I’m Blonde’. Or watch her perform the song in ‘Earth Girls are Easy’ with Jeff Goldblum, Geena Davis, and Jim Carrey. Oh, and one of the Wayan’s brothers. Rember - the concept of the movie is a song *made popular* playing on the Dr. Demento radio program - this is not rocket science, people. Even when the space ship lands in Davis’s back yard swimming pool, and needs ‘repairs’. And the aquarium, oh, my. I think the ‘Trapped’ album also has the runaway favorite Brown song, ‘The Homecoming Queen’s Got A Gun’. Smashing.

BTW, who ever used the phrase ‘Blonde Moment’ first? Or ‘Brain Fart’, for that matter? Curious.

    Marty Feldman: ROCKS!

    Unfortunately, also:

    Marty Feldman: Toast…

Ballmer also reminds me of the actor who played Charles Winchester III on M.A.S.H. but the Ballmer/Feldman comparison makes sense. Feldman’s character had to deal with a monster with a abnormal brain and Ballmer has to deal with Bill Gates…

    Frau Blucher! Wwwwhhhiiinnnyyy!

Yep, Peter Boyle’s long lost brother…

As for the quotes, I think a leetle story is in order…

Fiction writing is great, you can make up almost anything, I have opinions of my own, strong opinions, but I don’t always agree with them because it was God who made me so beautiful, if I weren’t, then I’d be a school teacher. I think gay marriage is something that should be between a man and a woman.

The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation’s history. I mean in this century’s history. But we all lived in this century. I didn’t live in this century, I make Jessica Simpson look like a rock scientist, she once told me “I’m not anorexic. I’m from Texas. are there people from Texas that are anorexic? I’ve never heard of one. And that includes me” I couldn’t fault her logic almost the same way as finding out that smoking kills, if you’re killed, you’ve lost a very important part of your life.

So, where’s the Cannes Film Festival being held this year?

    :geek:

It doesn’t matter if you’re born blonde, dye your hair blonde or have brown hair for your whole life. We all have “Dumb Blonde Moments” from time to time. We just notice the ones celebrities make more often because they’re in the limelight. As for me, I’m a natural blonde and quite smart I like to think, but even I have my “Blonde Moments.”

BTW, I coined the phrase “Blonde Moment,” thank you very much. :P
