    Marcia felt good today. She was still bitter about Jack’s cheating with a mutual friend, but that was coming together, now.

    First was to cancel Jack’s cell phone. Marchia’s letter to the phone company requesting cancellation because ‘her husband died’ should hit today or tomorrow. Her cell was in the glove box of her (brand spanking new) Volvo. And the cord to the only, last phone in the house was her lead on her new four-footed friend. Named for Marcia and Jack’s mutual ‘friend’, Janet was a lovely little Lhasa Apso bitch. Except that ‘friend’ Janet wasn’t being as respectful as the little bitch on the phone cord.

    Yes, Marcia felt just the tiniest bit better every time she introduced her dog as the ‘little bitch, Janet’.
