It’s his smile that is creepy. Please put a cover on it. You had a superhero a while ago. Is this the same place Dave?

Now, the overloaded vehicles made me smile. It is so common in Thailand that you sometimes forget how strange it is. Usually you can see Thais driving the family motorcycle. 2 adults and 2 children. baby, father, child, and finally mother.

The answer to my question. It was my 2nd year in Thailand and I was teaching a young pretty lady the simple present. Of course I was a clueless wonder and I didn’t speak much Thai and knew nothing about Thai slang.

So, when she said she smokes but not cigarettes I had to ask another teacher what she meant. Here it is.

She smokes… :wang:.. :wtf:  Thanks for the offer. :wang: :wang:

    Caption - Fear Me

as to why its scary on a couple of fronts I put forward this hypothesis…

    1. The background lighting is green and dark.

2.The composite image (cgi) of an idealized version of a legendary baseball slugger is your worst nightmare as a pitcher.
    On this point -
a/ the shoulders are freaking huge
b/ the dude’s grin says “bring it on”
c/ you know he’s going to hurt you

    3. It’s somehow not “quite” right.

    :geek:

What’s with the woman on the moped(link)? I’ll put a helmet on my own head, but screw my kids. That irritates the shit out of me. The baseball guy looks like a personal hell for people who hated little league as kids. “Come on Billy you throw like a girl!”

    It really works, doesn’t it?

  12. Ace, 23, March 2006, 3:54 |

Come to me children, let me show you how to beat the brains out of someone you don’t like, maybe like someone who cut in line right in front of you. It’ll be fun! Muah ha ha ha ha!

Yeah this guy is way creepy!

I think Marcus’s pic is the Scarecrow from Batman Begins.

It’s easy to criticize someone, but imagine dealing with all the worries of a nation, trying to do what you feel is right, being criticized for everything you do and simultaneously trying to please everyone. - impossible

Though the Mighty Casey struck out at bat, he did score in the locker room with a blow job from the bull pen.

    Or

A very pissed off George Bush bashes the heads of his critics after realizing that if Uncle Dick can get away with shooting someone in the face who is going care if he bashes the heads of a few of those pesky dumb O’ crats

Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Dade County Dinner Theater. For tonight’s presentation of ‘Bang the Drum Slowly’ the part of the
catcher, Bruce Pearson, will be played by Kevin Nealon. Kevin Nealon, everybody, give him a big hand”. :wtf:

Ok folks the dude in the photo is a collection agent for the mob, and some people havn’t paid there debt therefore he’s going collecting. As for the overloaded vehicals, kinda reminds me of the time I loaded a cord of oak firewood in my dads 82 datsun 720 longbed, streeing waa fun but I made the delivery and collected.

  53. JFLY, 23, March 2006, 14:52 |

First thought: I didn’t know Herman Munster was in “The Warriors” movie

Second thought: He’s wearing too much blush

Third thought: I’m adding him to yesterday’s list

  54. Bjorn Freeh, 23, March 2006, 15:06 |

To be honest, I don’t see any Herman Munster in this guy, at all. He does have W’s smirk, but he more closely resembles a young Reagan. But, he’s a lefty. Reagan would never do anything from the left. So, that leaves Kevin Nealon (as Patrick suggested).

One last test: If this guy has a baboon’s ass, it’s definitely Nealon; a horse’s ass, then it’s W.

*laughs* Quite. Very spooky, both of you. Though when I was thinking that caption I imagined he had been smiling for the fans on-camera and then his brain failed at what would presumably be an illogical sight. But that’s not important.

  71. VBBJen, 24, March 2006, 10:13 |

I knw what you mean, half-realistic figures like that are much more scary than really really realistic ones (which end up being more fascinating). I almost didn’t see Team America because of my hate of marioneetes.
